OFCOM have ruled that Service Providers must give customers their PAC either immediately over the phone or by SMS within two hours. In addition, OFCOM have reduced the time taken to port out from two days to one day.
| OFCOM have ruled that Service Providers must port a customer’s mobile number over within one working day. The exception to this rule is when customers complete their purchase after 6pm. In this instance, the port will be treated as being done the next day, and will ported the next working day.(E.g. if a customer completes their purchase between 18:01 on Thursday and 17:59 on Friday, the port will be completed on the Monday) |
