The Photo?
The Lighthouse I have featured is the Bell Rock,Britains oldest beacon and my fathers favourite lighthouse,he was a lighthouse keeper for the northern lighthouse board www.nlb.org.uk before automation in the 90's shortly after his retirement he passed.
The Bell Rock recently celebrated it's 200th anniversary and i keep this picture showing a beacon for the safety of shipping in that part of the world as a beacon of hope for me that one day i may find a job that i will love as he did his.
Recruitment Agencies
Uncomfortable Prada shoes on,shiny black suit on back sleeveless shirt on (so what its warm who will know)
Last night in a stark realisation that i have spent the last week and a half of my holiday not applying for a new job, I blitzed throgh various job sites, firing off my C.V. like a serious shoot em up gamer. I must admit toward the end of my sortie on the job market I didn't even care what I was applying for just noting the location wage and job type.
Then when I get there they inform me of the need for a driving licence which I don't have,I asked why they thought not to ask this when they were trying to register me to their agency a blank look told me all i needed to know.
They just want numbers on their books.
I feel stupid for not getting out of my current job earlier 10 years is 5 years too long if i'm honest i could have done a degree, travelled whatever but i'm stuck and at the mercy of these recruiters who you wouldn't normally talk to.
i will take the first thing thats offered to me and i will leave my current job as i cannot bare to see that company be run into the ground by ego ridden teenagers masquerading as managers (most of whom will be found guilty of fraudulent activity within 3 years) and a team of part time staff who have there own priorities (rightly so) i can see in 3 years that company won't be on the high street so i'm looking to leave as soonly as possible.
Introduction
From this place i shall write observations, I also have a basic blog about mobile phone advice on www.dicksonp.blogspot.com,there is a link on here for it, I got fed up of people socially asking me questions about their phones, like i cared ! so this blog is a referral point leaving me free to think of comic prose.
